Who's That Girl??

Thanks to a generous gift from my husband's grandpa, and a kind husband who let me have part of his "share", I am a whole new woman today. I walk past the mirror and caught a glimpse of myself and wondered where I had been hiding all these months!

Yesterday, I went and got a fabulous new haircut, got my eyebrows arched, and then went and got a new outfit for our Christmas parties! New jeans that fit and a trendy burnt orange top that I can wear out and to church. I tried the jeans on in the store and almost fell over at how good they looked. Not big and baggy, ugly wash jeans, but slenderizing jeans that made me feel like a million bucks. When I came out of the dressing room to show The Husband, his eyes popped out as he told me how good I looked. That was enough to make my heart flutter and I was SOLD.

It's amazing what some scissors and hot wax can do to a woman to make her feel better about herself. Aaahhh...

We have been busy bees the last few days. Things tend to get like this when my husband has time off of work. We went out for the afternoon on Friday, then came home to eat, and then we ventured out to look at Christmas lights. The Big Little One thinks that it's the greatest thing in the world to do.

Yesterday we had his work Christmas party, and then we dropped The Big Little One off at church and went out to dinner with our bible study group. We brought The Little Little One with us because I'm not okay with leaving her just yet -- maybe next month. It was nice to hang out with adults and have some "alone" time with my gorgeous husband. I didn't even have to tend to The Little Little One cause she was passed around. It was such a relaxing day.

Christmas is upon us very quickly and I still haven't started my wrapping. I'm going to lock myself in the bedroom tomorrow afternoon and get it done since The Husband will be home. I swear it this time, I'm gonna get it done!
