I finally decided that I cannot do this on my own. I cannot just hope that I was strong enough to stop eating when I was full. I cannot just hope that I had done well enough to get by. I need accountability. I need to take this seriously if I want to get this weight off.
So, I did it! I bit the bullet and bought a membership to Weight Watchers Online! I read up on the Momentum Plan and I'm diggin' it. It's going to be hard to break my 7.5 years of habits, but I'm much happier with the plan than the old ones. The difference is that they're pushing you to eat healthier foods, and not just foods that have not much nutritional value. So, a 2 point egg is better for you than a 2 point cookie because it keeps you feeling full longer.
I'm also starting a 30 Day Shred Challenge, courtesy of my favorite Coastie spouse website. It will be tough, but I've signed on to do the workout every day for 30 days and compete for most inches lost and most days done. I'm not the LEAST bit competitive - ha. Eat my dust, suckers. (Kidding)
Rochelle is back from a 3 week vacation so I have my workout/weightloss buddy back. I just pray that the babies (all 4 between the two of us) will let us have the 25 minutes needed per day to get this done!
